New Song - On Jordan's Stormy Banks I Stand
This song is has a great focus. It looks beyond this life and into the next as we repeat the verse I am bound for the promise land" we are reminded of the Israelites that were faced great struggle during their time in the desert, but knew the promises God had given to them and could hold tight to those in times of adversity.
Our promises today are not just of "a land of milk and honey," but of forgiveness of sins and life eternal with Christ! With these thoughts in mind we can worship God throughout our week with the thought that we are bound for the promised land, and we can think of ways that God may use us to bring others along with us.

Lyrics/Tabs - Key: G

What is a Blog, and why would a worship band use one?
So, Liberty is starting a worship blog. How can something with the word "blog" in it be used to glorify God?
First, if you do not know what a blog is or how they work you should take 3 minutes to watch this clip, "Blogs in Plain English" by commoncraft. Click on the play symbol to watch:
Because we are limited in the time we can meet to practice on Sunday mornings, Dan and Joel decided to use this blog to communicate with you. This blog also has features to let us interact as a group. If we decided to use it as such we can have many of the elements of a weekly meeting (except playing and singing together) at the time that is most convenient to you. Some uses could be:

- Letting you know the worship set a few days before church so you can prepare ahead of time
- Posting an online copy of our schedule (in case you lose it, or need it while away from your paper copy)
- Posting new songs we would like to introduce to the congregation for you to listen to for free
- Communicating with each other (phone numbers, email or posting comments on the blog)
- Discussing our new ideas for the band or new songs we could do in worship at Liberty
- Discussing the Bible and what it says about worship
- Sending out prayer requests, encouraging one another, and getting to know each other better
- And more...
